At Hillview Cattery, it is simple, Jayne & Darryl love cats and will extend their love to your fur baby too. They treat every furry guest as their own, lavishing love and attention on them, accommodating their particular needs and ensuring their health and happiness during the stay with them.
Jayne and Darryl have owned and loved cats for over two decades. They understand how much your cat means to you, and they go out of their way to provide a safe and comfortable home away from home for your beloved feline friend.
Our purpose-built cattery on 35 acres of lovely farmland is the only council approved and registered pet boarding facility in the Colac Otway Shire. Conveniently located on the Princes Highway in Birregurra, 20 min from the Surf Coast, 80 minutes from the Melbourne CBD and just over 30 minutes from Geelong, our luxury cat retreat is the perfect holiday for your pet.
At Hillview cattery, we have access to local vet care 24/7. We are happy to assist with any medication needs your cat may have.
Plus, you have two caring owners who live on-site, which means your fur baby will have someone checking in on them day and night.
We offer all our special guests a private and spacious single, double or colony suite. All our luxury suites have multi-level indoor platforms, which open out onto a private, covered outdoor area for your cat to relax.
All outdoor areas are accessible through an individual cat flap. Our suites are furnished with scratching posts, cushions, a sleeping igloo, toys and a private covered litter box. A privacy screen on the sleeping levels ensures your cat is not disturbed by other guests when they want to get some rest.
All of our feline guests enjoy dry and wet food twice daily. At Hillview cattery, we consider the individual dietary preferences of each of our furry friends, offering a wide variety of common pet foods.
Special feeding requirements? No problem. If your pet has special dietary needs such as prescription or specialised food you are welcome to bring it with you for us to feed your precious puss while they are here with us.
Our luxury cat boarding suites are serviced twice daily to ensure our hygiene and cleanliness standards are rigorously maintained.
All suites receive a thorough disinfecting and scrub down between guests, with all furnishings and bedding replaced as per the Pet Industry Mandatory Code of Practice.
Since many of our guests come from Melbourne, Geelong and down the Surf Coast, we offer free late checkout up to 6 pm on the final day of boarding at our cattery.
At Hillview we charge by the night, not by the day. We are open all your round with no block out periods, no minimum stays, no increased tariffs during peak times and no credit card surcharges. In short, we keep it simple.
We know plans change quickly; therefore, we allow our cat boarding guests to check out up to 24 hours early without incurring additional charges. (Except during peak periods)
We also offer short notice bookings if you have an emergency.
Our cattery guests enjoy regulated temperatures in their suites. With air-conditioning throughout the facility and heaters, your fur baby will be perfectly content no matter the season.
All our cattery guests receive individual attention and, of course, lots of cuddles!
